Principal's Message

Dear Norristown Area High School Families,

The 2025–2026 school year is off to a fantastic start! During the first week, our hallways were filled with energy, excitement, and Eagle Pride as students reconnected with friends, met their teachers, and began setting goals for the year ahead.

Teachers focused on building strong classroom communities, reviewing expectations, and helping students ease into their routines. Our ninth graders were welcomed with special activities to support their transition to high school, while upperclassmen jumped right into their coursework and leadership roles.

We were especially proud to see students demonstrating our core values of being safe, respectful, and responsible. These behaviors set the tone for a positive learning environment and ensure that every Eagle can thrive.

As the year continues, we encourage families to stay engaged by checking Infinite Campus regularly, attending school events, and partnering with teachers to support learning at home. Together, we can make this year one of growth, achievement, and success for all of our students.

Thank you for your continued support and for helping us make the first week such a success!

With Eagle Pride,
Detrick McGriff, Ed. D.
